Rilakkuma Calendar

I'm going to move to another city for 6 months because of my internship, and I bought my best friend a Rilakkuma calendar as a good-bye gift.
Actually one of the reasons Rilakkuma is so precious to me is because it was him who bought me my first plush bear. ♥



It's pretty simple with one tear-out page for each month with Korilakkuma dressed in different cute outfits and a small monthly calendar at the bottom of each page.



The main reason I choose a calendar as a gift is so I could fill in some important dates before I give it to him, for example a little note saying "HAPPY BIRTHDAY", because I won't be able to do it personally. ★

Amigurumi Rabbit

This is Super Rabbit :D
He was just something I randomly started when I was bored, but he kind of grew on me...

I started crochet before Christmas 2008 because I wanted to give my best friend a selfmade bear(which was unsurprisingly very similar to Rilakkuma...) as a present, and have been doing a couple of projects since then.
The last one was a pink bear for a Lolita I met in Hungary, and I still regret having forgotten to take a picture of it because I finished it an hour prior to the meet-up!


This is what he looked like initially, but the same friend I made the first bear for requested longer ears, so I made him a hat with longer ones.


I'm way too impatient to learn the meanings of all those cryptic abbreviations you need to understand patterns, but thankfully there are tons of awesome video tutorials on Youtube.
And once you've got the basics down it's really easy to do simple things yourself.
I want to make another pink bear next. :3

Rose Skirt

The new skirt and fur stole I talked about. Can't wait for spring so I can wear the skirt out!
I'm wearing it over a dress that's also from H&M, it has a soft tulle skirt and looks very similar to the dress Carry wears in the Sex & The City opening.
Right now they also sell a dress that's cut the same as this one, but with layers of ruffles instead of tulle and a bow at the waist. ♥

Korilakkuma Deco Mouse

I just bought my first own computer ♥
Though the problem with technical things usually is, they either function well OR look good.
My cellphone for example - it's shiny and purple and looks awesome, but the software is buggy and slow as hell, and the external touch screen is really bad, too.
I can live with a shitty cellphone as long as it plays MP3s and takes pictures, but when it comes to laptops I'd rather choose performance.
Buuut, there's nothing wrong with a blingbling deco mouse :D
Even the chord is pink, ahh.


It's really comfortable to use, too.
Hopefully it'll last a while, as I said I don't trust in the qualtity of goodlooking electronics.

BABY Watch

I got my BABY watch on Monday! I have always wanted one of their watches, and stumbled upon this one at Closet Child.
I love the sound the charms make when they dangle against the chain ♥
Although I really like those that come on a leather strap, too...

Dolls

I spent a great deal of the morning playing with the dollmaker over at Mirukuma. (I've used the same hairstyle on all of them because it was the only one I liked, though it's a little restricting because they all have the pink headbow.)
They currently have a contest going on were you can win BABY goodies ★
I'll enter because I'm after the planner, ahem.

I also found an awesome skirt and fur collar at the H&M sale yesterday, though I can't take pictures right now because the lighting in my room is really bad due to the snow on my windows.
It's a high waist skirt with a salmon pink base and a purple/pink/green rose print, and the fur stole is lavender, they look so cute together! ♥
Though the skirt is a size 38, which I'd say is usually an M close to L, and I have a 67cm waist, H&M's sizing is really fucked up.
